CASE STUDY 1 – Equity Release

Mr and Mrs D wanted to release equity in their home to buy a boat. The couple are retired but wanted to enjoy their retirement to the full. The house is a 4 bedroom terraced property and whilst they could have sold up and downsized, they wanted to stay close to their friends and neighbours.

We purchased the house and they rent it back for a rent that they suggested.

We have made improvements to the property thus further enhancing their retirement years and Mrs D is particularly happy with the improvements whilst Mr D is particularly happy with his boat. (Top)

CASE STUDY 2 – Repossession Stopped & Rent Back

Mrs I had fallen a long way behind with her mortgage repayments and this was largely due to debts that her husband had accrued elsewhere before leaving her. The house was in her name, she has 3 children and her mortgage lender had commenced the repossession process. The proceedings were temporarily suspended through the Courts and we purchased the house, setting a rent she could comfortably afford with Council Benefit assistance.

Mrs I kept her home, the children (including a very young baby) were not uprooted and the older ones did not have to change schools. (Top)

CASE STUDY 3 – Divorce

Mr and Mrs B had decided some months previously that they would part. At the stage they contacted us neither of them were living in their marital home, and the burden of the mortgage payments was not helping. They approached us and we agreed a fast sale allowing them to get on with their lives. The house is now let to a young family who were extremely grateful to leave the accommodation that they have been in up until that point. (Top)

CASE STUDY 4 – Divorce

Mrs S had fallen into debt and at the same time the couple had agreed that whilst they loved each other they found it difficult to live together. They agreed they would separate but Mr S wanted to settle his wife’s debts. He answered one of our ads and we agreed a purchase that allowed him to carry on living in the house he had owned for many years. (Top)

CASE STUDY 5 – Sickness

Another Mrs S was suffering badly from MS. Her son was her carer but the house had fallen into a very bad state of repair. She needed to sell up and go into care but most potential buyers would have been put off by the state of the property. We agreed a purchase within 24 hours of visiting the property, taking all the stress and worry out of the situation.

The property was completely renovated to a very high specification and a young family now live in it. (Top)
